About The International Dyslexia Association

What We Provide
IDA provides valuable information and referral services to tens of thousands of calls and letters received to our headquarters in Baltimore, MD each year. Our annual conference attracts thousands of researchers, clinicians, parents, teachers, psychologists, educational therapists and people with dyslexia. We provide parent outreach and support, and are working to create literacy laws across the Nation.

Our Presence Is Global
IDA has 42 Branches in the United States and Canada, and 21 Global Partners. Every branch provides services on a local level, such as teacher training, information and referral, educational seminars, and support systems of various kinds.

Our Goal
The goal of IDA is to pursue and provide the most comprehensive range of information and services that address the full scope of dyslexia and related difficulties in learning to read and write.
